When we try to eat healthy and loose weight we tend to cut out desserts right away. Did you know that it is actually good to eat dessert... for breakfast! Yes, you read that right.
Experts agree that eating what is essentially dessert for breakfast is a great way to keep yourself full all day long. When you feel full all day, you tend to snack less later on which can lead to weight loss. Keep in mind that having dessert for breakfast should still be part of a healthy, balanced diet. So don't overdo it.
If you are anything like me in the morning I wake up, throw on whatever clothes I can find and drink way too much coffee. Eating is not something I usually think about until later on in the day. Here are some great sweet breakfast ideas to get you started:
- Fluffy sour-milk pancakes
- Sweet crepes filled with Nutella, strawberries, and bananas
- Nutella and strawberry stuffed French toast rolls
- Coffee glazed cinnamon rolls
- Banana, maple, nut oatmeal
